Prayer walk map of Moroto Town

the Singletary compound The Singletary Compound

Toward the east, we travel through the northern limits of Moroto town, and finally arrive at the Singletarys' compound in the northeast corner. The Singletarys have lived here since they arrived in Moroto in 1998. Larry, Terry, and their three children previously occupied the main house. Now, with their children grown and living in the US, Larry and Terry will be living in a smaller structure at the compound, with the larger home being used to house short-term missionaries working with them.

Larry uses duct-tape to bind a wound The Singletary home is known to local Karamojong people—the Tepez—as a place of peace, truth, deliverance, and help. People show up spontaneously, needing medical attention, seeking deliverance from demonic torment, and sometimes even the delivering of a baby to be born.

Pray that complete Divine Protection (covering physical, mental, and spiritual aspects) will surround this place and this family. Pray also, that this place will shine ever brighter as God's beacon, and that many will continue to be drawn away from the darkness of their present lives and toward His wonderful light.

Prayer House in Moroto Pray that God's plans for those who have been called to Karamoja by Him for the purpose of intercessory prayer will be fully realized, and that the enemy's efforts to prevent this will come to nothing. Pray as well, that the Lord's call to those whom He has commissioned for this purpose will heed Him, and that their way here will be provided for.
