Prayer House in Moroto

There is much work to be done in reaching the Karamojong for Christ, especially in the area of spiritual warfare.

We are seeking those who will come to Karamoja for a week or more to intercede for the Karamojong people. Having prayer warriors on the ground in Karamoja and walking among the Karamojong people will be an especially effective strategy in the spiritual war against the enemy. We can house up to six people at a time in the Prayer House, so groups are welcome to come.

These Special Operations Teams will be able to meet Karamojong individuals face-to-face and get to know them personally, so as to more effectively pray for them and their people. The Prayer House will serve as the team's home base, from which they can come before God in prayer to seek His plan in spiritual warfare on behalf of the Karamojong. After knowing His plan, the team can then move out into the Moroto community and beyond, to attack the enemy's strongholds and claim God's victory.

Below, you can meet some of the folks that God has used here in Karamoja to bring about His victory:

Neail and Linda Dillashaw are the directors of God's Carpenter Shop, which is a non-profit organization that seeks to train pastors of foreign countries in the areas of carpentry and discipleship so that they can make a living by "tent making."

the Dillashaws Karamoja For Christ invited the Dillashaws to join the Singletarys in Karamoja for several weeks in the Spring of 2000 to get more of a taste of cross-cultural ministry while praying on-site for the Karamojong people and building kitchen and bathroom cabinets in the Singletarys' home.

Please read their exciting story!
