he New Braunfels Art League (NBAL) commenced its annual juried fine art competion, Artfest, at the begininng of November. The competition brought together first-class works in the categories of oil/acrylics, pastels, watercolors, sculpture, and photography. For the second consecutive year, Bill won first place in the photography division.

For the 2005 show, Bill entered three works, "Unseen Eternal," "Boundary Marker," and "Pentagon Before Cedar Ridge." Bill was honored to have all three works selected by the jury to be exhibited, and "Unseen Eternal" (seen at right) won top honors in the photographic category.

This prize-winning photograph, as well as Bill's other works can be purchased either directly from him, at Regional Artists' Consortium in San Antonio, or at the The New Braunfels Art League.
