SEPTEMBER, 2007
SAFOTO International Photography Festival The FotoSeptiembre show catalogs are available in limited supply from Bill. The catalogs have been exceptionally produced and contain full show information for each of the thirty exhibitors, along with sample color photographs from each (including Bill's show). If you desire one, give Bill a call at 210-241-6132 (or ask him at the show), and perhaps you can "sweet-talk" him out of one! This year, FotoSeptiembre has exhibits in Paris, Reggio-Emilia (Italy), Mexico City, Singapore, New Delhi, the Canary Islands, and twenty two exhibits in South Texas (mostly in San Antonio) . For more information on FotoSeptiembre, check out their website at: www.safotofestival.com. Bill's new series for this show, "Art In the Garden," explores the expression of diverse human arts in the contexts of a wide spectrum of gardens. The series has been a rich source of inspiration and expression, and he plans on continuing some of this work after the exhibit closes at the end of September. In the process of producing this new series, Bill has written an introductory article that shares a few of his initial thoughts and concepts that are some of the driving force behind this project. Read his article, "Echoes of a Fading Dream".
